Ha'ula Beach

Ha'ula Beach is a coastal area on Kauai's southeastern shore defined by a low rock shelf that dominates its waterline. The beach features eroded cliffs and wave-carved channels that shape its distinctive geology.

The beach has no facilities, so visitors should bring all essential supplies with them for the day. Access requires a moderate hike of approximately 3 miles from the Shipwrecks Beach trailhead.

This beach holds the highest sand dunes along Kauai's south shore and provides a resting area for Hawaiian monk seals. These rare marine mammals rely on the remote location for peaceful rest and recovery.
