Templo de Nuestra Señora de Aranzazú, Baroque temple in Centro, Guadalajara, Mexico.

Templo de Nuestra Senora de Aranzazu is a religious building in the city center featuring Spanish baroque architecture with ornate decorative elements. Inside, three golden altars sit beneath a vaulted ceiling decorated with intricate carved details across the walls and surfaces.

The temple was built between 1749 and 1752 during an important period when religious architecture flourished in the city. This construction marked a time when such elaborate buildings were being created throughout Guadalajara.

The temple serves as an active place of worship where daily services and celebrations bring the community together in shared faith. Visitors can observe how the space remains central to people's spiritual practices and traditions in the city.

The temple sits on Avenida 16 de Septiembre in the downtown area and is reachable by public transportation from most neighborhoods. Remember that this is an active place of worship, so respectful behavior is appropriate when visiting.

The building stands as one of the most complete examples of the Churrigueresque style in Mexico, with carved stone details that fill the entire interior. This particular expression of Spanish baroque decoration is rarely seen executed with such completeness elsewhere.
