The Ziegler Estate on North Figueroa Street is a residential house built in Queen Anne style with decorative elements and complex rooflines spanning multiple stories. The structure combines ornate detailing with characteristic architectural features from its construction period.

Built in 1904, the Ziegler Estate was designed by Charles Hornbeck and Alfred P. Wilson. In the 1950s, Southwest Museum director Carl Dentzel bought it as a possible addition to the museum complex. It became Los Angeles Monument #416 on February 21, 1989, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on October 3, 2003.

The house shows how wealthy families lived in early 20th-century Los Angeles, with ornate details and spacious rooms that reflect the prosperity of its owners.
