Saddleback Church is a large evangelical congregation in Lake Forest, California, with multiple buildings on a spacious campus in southern Orange County. The main auditorium seats around 3,500 people, while additional structures house spaces for education, counseling, and social activities.

Rick Warren and Kay Warren began the church in 1980 as a Bible study of six people in their condo; the first worship service followed on Palm Sunday 1980 in the Little Theatre of Laguna Hills High School. A building in Lake Forest with a 3,500-seat auditorium was dedicated in 1995. Andy Wood became lead pastor in 2022, and the church was removed from the Southern Baptist Convention in 2023.

Saddleback takes its name from the Saddleback Valley of southern Orange County where Rick Warren settled in 1979. The church runs the Purpose Driven Church curriculum and Celebrate Recovery, an addiction recovery support group program. Its multi-site model extends to 15 campuses in different cities, reported in a 2024 church census.

The campus is located in Lake Forest southeast of Los Angeles and is easily reached by car via several major roads. Parking is available in large numbers, and most events take place on weekends and throughout the week.

In 2024 Saddleback agreed to sell part of its San Juan Capistrano property for a multi-acre battery energy storage facility, planned downslope from residential neighbourhoods and near environmentally sensitive land connected to Oso Creek. The proposal drew local scrutiny.
