Acrisure Arena is an indoor venue in Palm Springs located between Interstate 10 and Classic Club golf course on a wide plot of land. The building holds over 11,000 spectators and offers executive suites along with modern technical equipment.
Construction started on June 2, 2021 after pandemic-related delays and progressed quickly over the following months. The opening took place on December 14, 2022 with a comedy show.
The building serves as home stadium for the Coachella Valley Firebirds and draws hockey fans from across the region throughout the season. Concerts and family events alternate with game nights and create a lively feel inside the space.
The complex has dedicated parking areas and several entrances for different flows of visitors. Food and drinks are available at multiple spots throughout the building.
During the 2023 Calder Cup Finals, the facility set an American Hockey League record with over 138,000 visitors across 16 playoff games. This attendance number surpassed all previous figures in the league for a single finals series.
