Finca Pausilipo is a preserved estate with white walls and colonial-style wooden details built in traditional Panamanian form. The building contains multiple rooms that display how a wealthy household lived during that era.

Belisario Porras acquired the estate in 1880 in Las Tablas Abajo; the house was built in 1889 with adobe walls, tile roof and local wood. The site entered the national heritage in 1976 and restoration began in 1977. According to his great-grandson Mario Espino Porras, the structures were restored twice more, under presidents Ernesto Pérez Balladares and Mireya Moscoso.

The property shows how wealthy Panamanians lived and worked in the early 20th century. The rooms reflect the influence that the political leadership held in this region.

The estate lies in the corregimiento of Las Tablas Abajo, on two hectares outside the town centre, so ask locally for the turn-off rather than following the highway alone. The house and its museum rooms are reached on foot once at the property; the grounds are open land, so plan for sun and uneven surfaces.

The house still contains personal items and furniture from Porras, including documents from his time as President. These objects offer a direct sense of the private life of a leading politician of that era.
