Torres de Fenicia, High-rise residential complex in Las Aguas district, Bogotá, Colombia
Torres de Fenicia comprises two 31-story towers standing 150 meters tall, connected by platforms with stairs and ramps that navigate the sloping terrain. Each floor holds four apartments of approximately 130 square meters, featuring three bedrooms and service areas within the layout.
These towers were built in 1970 on the former site of a glass and bottle factory named Fenicia, marking a shift in how the city developed. The project arrived during Bogotá's period of rapid population growth, when new housing forms were needed.
The complex sits near Monserrate and Bogotá's historic founding center, where international design approaches shaped how residential buildings developed in Colombia. This location blends contemporary living with proximity to places that define the city's character.
The location is easily accessible and well-integrated into the city's street network, making it simple to reach from different parts of Bogotá. Nearby you'll find hotels, restaurants, and everyday services that make a visit comfortable and convenient.
The complex features shared facilities like tennis courts, gardens, and a basketball court that were added after the towers were completed. These outdoor spaces were developed by residents and continue to be actively managed by the community.
