Macromural de Pachuca

The Macromural de Pachuca is a mural that spans two neighborhoods and covers hundreds of houses with a continuous color pattern. The design features soft, flowing forms that resemble wind patterns, tying the entire area together visually.

The artwork was created between 2015 and 2018 by the Germen Crew collective as part of a Mexican government program promoting peace through art. The project marked a turning point in using murals as a tool for urban renewal in Pachuca.

The mural displays flowing patterns and colors that represent the winds of Pachuca, transforming how residents see their neighborhoods. People live within a continuous artistic creation that has become part of their daily surroundings and neighborhood identity.
