The Centro Cultural El Ferrocarril occupies a former train station building with exhibition spaces, performance areas, and educational facilities in Pachuca.
The cultural center opened in January 1999 after the closure of Ferrocarriles Nacionales de México, transforming the former railway station into a public arts venue.
The center maintains multiple galleries and workshop spaces where local artists display their work and conduct classes for the community.
Located at General Ignacio Mejía Street, the center operates Tuesday through Sunday from 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM with free admission to most activities.
The building preserves the original railway station architecture while functioning as a modern cultural space under the supervision of CECULTAH.
