The Magnolia Hotel features a two-story structure with limecrete construction, containing two bedrooms, a living room, and a private bathroom with modern amenities.
Built in 1840 as a two-room log cabin by James Campbell, the hotel expanded in 1846 with a concrete addition and became a main stagecoach stop until 1880.
The property contributes to the Seguin Commercial Historic District's heritage and stands as one of the oldest limecrete buildings in the region.
The hotel suite accommodates up to four guests, providing a temporary access code for the exterior door leading to the upstairs living quarters.
Texas Ranger Captain Jack Hays married the hotel owner's daughter in the concrete section of the building on April 29, 1847.
