Aveva Stadium, Rugby stadium in Houston Sports Park, US
Aveva Stadium is a rugby arena in Houston Sports Park with a rectangular playing field and seating for about 4,000 spectators. The viewing areas feature individual seats and bleachers on all sides, and two additional practice fields are located within the complex.
The venue opened following groundbreaking ceremonies in July 2018, backed by support from the City of Houston. The opening made it possible to establish a professional rugby league in the region.
The stadium is home to the Houston SaberCats and has helped establish rugby union as a recognized sport in the region. Visitors experience matches that connect the community to a sport with deep traditions elsewhere in the country.
The stadium is located on Kirby Drive and offers parking for about 1,200 vehicles on-site. Visitors should allow extra time for arrival, as it sits within a larger sports complex.
Since 2022, Houston Dynamo 2, the reserve soccer team, has also used the stadium for home matches. This has transformed the venue into a multi-sport facility that extends well beyond rugby.
