Magnolia Market, Shopping complex in Waco, Texas, United States
Magnolia Market is a shopping complex in Waco, Texas, covering two city blocks with a large store inside a converted grain barn. Two tall concrete silo towers stand next to several low buildings that house shops and food outlets.
The structures were built in the mid-20th century for cotton oil processing and operated until the late 1950s. Decades later a retail project reused the site, preserving and reviving the old industrial buildings.
The name comes from a home goods business founded by a television couple. Today the place draws people looking for furnishings, plants, and baked goods while they walk through the open outdoor areas.
The complex sits on Webster Avenue and opens most weekdays, with several parking areas nearby. Visitors can move freely across lawns and pathways, and most areas are ground-level accessible.
The silos are painted white on the outside, giving them a clean appearance visible from far across the city. A small trailer at the back of the property serves as a photo backdrop and remains popular with visitors.
