Champ d'Or Estate is a French-inspired mansion in Hickory Creek featuring approximately 48,000 square feet of space. The complex includes formal gardens, indoor and outdoor swimming areas, a tennis court, and a private lake.

The estate was built between 2002 and 2004 by Alan and Shirley Goldfield, drawing architectural inspiration from the French Château Vaux-le-Vicomte. The design reflects how contemporary builders sought to recreate traditional European elegance in Texas.

The mansion displays French baroque elements including gold-plated elevators, hand-carved spiral staircases, and a grand ballroom with Versailles-style mirrors. These design features reflect the taste visitors encounter while exploring the property.

The property now operates as The Olana wedding venue, offering spaces for ceremonies and receptions throughout the year. Visitors should plan ahead since the location is primarily used for private events.

A 78-foot-high dome crowns the mansion, sheltering a complex theater with bowling and racquetball courts inside. This underground recreation facility shows how thoroughly the owners designed for guest comfort.
