DATCU Stadium is a college American football stadium at the junction of Interstate 35E and 35W in Denton, Texas, opened in 2011 with a capacity of 30,100. A tall multi-level grandstand with a broad glass-fronted facade rises on one side, while an open sloping bank of seating stands opposite. The green artificial turf carries large white letters reading "MEAN" and a white boundary line.
The stadium opened in 2011 as a successor to Fouts Field, which had served the university since 1952. The new construction marked an important step in modernizing the university's sports facilities.
