North Toledo Bend State Park

North Toledo Bend State Park stretches across 900 acres along Toledo Bend Reservoir, featuring woodlands, waterfront areas, and recreational facilities for outdoor activities.

Established in 1987 under the Louisiana Office of State Parks, this recreational area became a central point for water sports and fishing on Toledo Bend Reservoir.

The park serves as a gathering place for fishing competitions, drawing participants from different regions who connect through their shared interest in freshwater sports.

The park maintains sixty-seven campsites with water and electrical hookups, ten furnished cabins, and five dormitories that accommodate fifty people each.

Two eighteen-hole disc golf courses wind through the natural landscape, while specialized trails extend up to twelve miles for hiking and biking experiences.
