Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Gothic Revival cathedral in Biloxi, United States.

The Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary stands at 870 West Howard Avenue in Biloxi. Theodore Brune of New Orleans designed it and J.F. Barnes & Company of Greenville, Mississippi, built it in 1902. Nine stained glass windows made by Reis and Reis of Munich were installed in 1906, and three marble altars replaced the wooden ones in 1943.

The building was constructed in 1902 to replace an earlier church from 1870 that was destroyed by fire. It gained cathedral status in 1977 when the Diocese of Biloxi was established.

The parish was founded as a mission in 1843, and the church is named for the Nativity of the Virgin Mary. In 1906 a parishioner paid for nine stained glass windows made by Reis and Reis of Munich, installed by Frederick Thornley of New York. A stone grotto to Our Lady of Lourdes was built at the church in 1893.

The cathedral stands at 870 West Howard Avenue, its entrance facing the street below the square clock tower. Visitors enter through the main doors; the 1906 stained glass windows by Reis and Reis of Munich are best seen with daylight behind them. The parish also keeps the Marina Chapel, created during the 1989 renovation.

The 1906 donation that paid for the nine stained glass windows came from a single parishioner; the glass was made by Reis and Reis of Munich and installed by Frederick Thornley of New York. The same year brought new pews, an altar rail, altar, bell, clock and Stations of the Cross.
