Cayo Largo del Sur

Cayo Largo del Sur is a narrow island in the Canarreos Archipelago with multiple white sand beaches bordered by turquoise Caribbean waters. The terrain is flat and compact, making the shoreline accessible from most locations on the island.

Development as a tourist destination began in the 1980s when the first resorts were built on the island. Since then it has grown steadily to become a major travel hub in the Caribbean region.

The fourth channel contains natural shallow pools where several starfish species live year-round. These quiet spots offer a chance to watch tropical sea creatures in their natural state without disturbing them.
