Aventura Mall, Shopping center in Aventura, US
Aventura Mall is a shopping center in Aventura, Florida, spanning three levels and housing more than 300 shops, including luxury brands, five major department stores, and a range of restaurants. The total retail space covers around 260,000 square meters (2.8 million square feet), making the building one of the largest of its kind on the United States East Coast.
The shopping center opened on April 29, 1983, as a joint project between Oxford Development Co. and Edward J. DeBartolo Corp. Since then, the building has undergone several expansions, most recently in the 2010s, to accommodate new brands and dining options.
The center combines everyday retail with a public art program, allowing visitors to discover sculptures and contemporary installations while moving between shops. Works by international artists appear across all three floors, turning the space into a kind of walkable gallery that people pass through while browsing or heading to the next boutique.
The center sits at 19501 Biscayne Boulevard and connects directly to the Brightline Aventura Station for commuter rail access. Shops open daily from 10:00 AM to 9:30 PM, though some restaurants serve guests for longer hours.
Around 50 restaurants and eateries offer food from different cuisines, from quick snacks to sit-down meals at upscale tables. Visitors needing a break from shopping can settle at one of many tables or sit outdoors and watch other guests stroll past.
