Kraken Unleashed

Kraken Unleashed features seven inversions along its 4,177-foot track, reaching speeds of 65 mph with floorless seats that suspend riders above the rails.

Opening on June 1, 2000, this steel coaster held records for height and length in Florida until Disney's Expedition Everest surpassed them in 2006.

The design draws from maritime mythology, incorporating the ancient tale of the Kraken sea monster through architectural elements and underwater themes.

Riders need to measure at least 54 inches in height to access the attraction, which operates with three trains carrying 32 passengers each.

The track includes three subterranean dives, with one descent into an underground lair creating water effects that splash nearby spectators.
