SeaWorld SkyTower

The SeaWorld SkyTower is an observation tower featuring a double-decker rotating cabin that spins slowly as it rises. From the top, you can see across the entire park and out toward the wider Orlando landscape in all directions.

The tower opened in 1974 and was Florida's tallest structure of its kind when it first appeared. It became a defining landmark as the park expanded into a major entertainment destination.

The tower serves as an educational platform where visitors learn about marine ecosystems and environmental conservation while viewing the park from above.

The ride up is slow and deliberate, giving you time to photograph the park and surroundings from different angles. Plan your visit on clear days for the best visibility and bring a camera with a good zoom.

The structure gained an advanced LED lighting system in 2013 that illuminates its frame during evening hours. This transforms the experience into something different at night, making it visible from across the park when the sun sets.
