SeaWorld Orlando

SeaWorld Orlando is a marine animal park in Orange County, Florida, combining aquariums with roller coasters across several themed areas. The facility includes Sesame Street Land for younger guests, Antarctic research station replicas, and zones with large aquariums for sharks, rays, and tropical fish.

The park opened in 1973 as a marine zoological facility and later expanded to include thrill rides. Over the following decades, educational programs on ocean conservation and new attraction zones representing marine ecosystems were added.

Visitors experience marine life through educational presentations, interactive animal encounters, and shows that demonstrate natural behaviors of aquatic species. The park combines entertainment with education, showcasing dolphins, sea lions, and penguins in environments that replicate their native regions.

The park offers multiple restaurants, stroller rentals, and designated rest areas throughout the grounds. Annual pass holders receive free parking, and most attractions are accessible for wheelchair users.

The Ice Breaker roller coaster uses four launches and includes a reverse launch into a 93-foot (28 meter) vertical drop at a 100-degree angle. The name and design reference icebreaker research vessels that operate in polar waters.
