Slinky Dog Dash, Steel roller coaster at Disney's Hollywood Studios, Florida, United States
Slinky Dog Dash is a steel roller coaster at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Florida that takes guests along a red track with yellow supports. Two motor launches propel the train through several turns and gentle hills.
The coaster opened on June 30, 2018, as the second roller coaster in the park after Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. Mack Rides from Germany built the installation for the new Toy Story Land.
The coaster design lets guests travel through Andy Davis's world, passing toy characters from the films. An animatronic Wheezy sings the well-known song from the film series during the ride.
Each train seats 18 people in five cars and reaches a speed of around 40 mph (64 km/h). The ride lasts about two minutes without inversions.
The track winds between oversized toys, including a tower of Jenga blocks with Rex on top. Guests experience the ride from the perspective of a toy in Andy's backyard.
