Superman: Ultimate Flight, Flying roller coaster at Six Flags Over Georgia, US.
Superman: Ultimate Flight is a steel roller coaster at the theme park Six Flags Over Georgia in the United States. The track runs for roughly 853 meters and reaches a maximum height of around 32 meters, with red rails supported by blue framework throughout the circuit.
The installation opened in April 2002 as the second flying coaster built by Swiss manufacturer Bolliger & Mabillard worldwide. It followed Air at Alton Towers in England, which had opened just weeks earlier.
The roller coaster incorporates Superman theming throughout its structure and queue area, reflecting the DC Comics character's flying abilities and color scheme.
The coaster runs three trains with seven cars each, and every cycle can carry up to 28 passengers. Guests need to meet a minimum height requirement to board the ride.
The pretzel loop was introduced here for the first time and turns riders into a horizontal position facing downward during the ride. The speed reaches approximately 82 kilometers per hour (51 miles per hour) at that point.
