Congregation Beth Jacob

Congregation Beth Jacob is an Orthodox synagogue in Toco Hills, a Jewish neighborhood in northern Atlanta where several Jewish congregations are located near each other. The building contains multiple prayer rooms, classrooms, and community spaces spread across a substantial campus on Lavista Road.

The congregation was founded in 1943 by eight people who gathered in a converted residential house before relocating to its present location in 1962. This move coincided with the emergence of a concentrated Jewish residential area as more congregations established themselves in the same neighborhood.
