Hodges Stadium

Hodges Stadium is a collegiate athletic facility at the University of North Florida featuring a nine-lane Olympic running track, natural grass field, and covered seating for around 9,400 spectators. Modern infrastructure is complemented by the adjacent Browning Athletic Training and Education Center, which provides athletes with comprehensive training facilities.

The facility opened in 2004 as a new sports venue for the university. In 2006, it received its name following a major donation from George and Kernan Hodges.

The stadium serves as a gathering place for North Florida Ospreys supporters and regularly hosts track meets, soccer matches, and cross country races. Visitors experience the energy of collegiate sporting events in a setting shaped by local athletic pride.

The stadium is located on the university campus at 1 UNF Drive with on-site parking available and straightforward road access. Visitors attending events should arrive early to secure good parking and explore the grounds without rushing.

In February 2005, the Philadelphia Eagles selected this stadium as their practice venue before Super Bowl XXXIX. This high-profile engagement demonstrates that the facility was recognized as a premier training site at the national level.
