Williams-Brice Stadium, Football stadium in Columbia, United States.
Williams-Brice Stadium is a football venue in Columbia owned by the University of South Carolina, with capacity for about 77,600 spectators. The facility features double-decked seating on both sides and has undergone several renovations to improve amenities.
The stadium was originally built in 1934 as Columbia Municipal Stadium through a Works Progress Administration project during the Great Depression. It received its current name in 1972 following a major gift from Martha Williams-Brice.
The venue holds deep meaning for the university and the city, serving as a gathering place where generations of supporters create memories. The space becomes a social hub where local pride and team loyalty are openly expressed.
The venue is easily accessible with ample parking available nearby on game days. Arriving early gives you time to find your way around and settle in before events begin.
The grounds feature a collection of converted railway cars known as the Cockaboose, serving as private entertainment spaces for regular supporters. This distinctive addition creates a memorable experience for those who visit repeatedly.

This collection gathers the largest stadiums on the planet, ranked by seating capacity. From the Narendra Modi Stadium in Motera, India, which hosts major cricket matches, to the vast American university arenas dedicated to football, and the May Day Stadium in Pyongyang, North Korea, these sports facilities demonstrate the scale that infrastructures for competitions and mass gatherings can reach. Each stadium has its own identity: some are exclusively dedicated to a specific sport, while others serve as flexible venues capable of hosting various events. Their sizes enable them to accommodate between 100,000 and over 150,000 spectators, providing organizers the opportunity to gather large crowds for international competitions, national finals, or major ceremonies.
