Lover's Point Beach is a small sand beach on the sheltered east side of Point Pinos in Pacific Grove. A concrete seawall and breakwater run along the water, and the sand sits below a grassy park with a volleyball court, a children's pool, a concrete pier, a restaurant and snack bar, and parking near 17th Street.

Originally named 'Lovers of Jesus Point', the site began as a Methodist retreat community in the late 1800s. Over time, it transformed into a public recreation area accessible to everyone.

The name recalls the Methodist retreat that called this shore 'Lovers of Jesus Point'; today the beach hosts the Feast of Lanterns, Pacific Grove's summer festival, whose closing fireworks are set off over the water. Chautauqua Hall nearby dates from the retreat era.

Parking is reached from 17th Street, close to the restaurant and snack bar. The concrete breakwater and wall shelter the swimming area from northern winds, so the water stays workable when outer surf is rough. A volleyball court, children's pool and concrete pier sit on the grounds, and the coastal path passes the site for walkers continuing along the shore.

The beach has a rare east-facing orientation, allowing visitors to watch the sun rise over the Pacific Ocean. This unusual feature on the West Coast offers a different experience than typical beaches in the region.
