The building represents essential architectural elements of the 1920s Romanesque Revival movement through its detailed craftsmanship and structural composition.
The Los Banos Arts Council now operates in this former church building, which occupies less than one acre of land in central California.
This structure stands as the only Romanesque building in the Los Banos region and received National Register of Historic Places recognition in 2004.
