Adventist Health Arena, Indoor arena in Stockton, California
Adventist Health Arena is a large multipurpose hall in downtown Stockton, California, situated on the waterfront next to Stockton Ballpark. It holds approximately eight thousand to twelve thousand seats and features large ceiling-mounted screens, a clear sound system, multiple private suites with their own bars and outdoor patios, and meeting rooms inside.
The arena opened in late 2005 with its first event being a Neil Diamond concert in December of that year. Since its establishment, it has grown into a center for entertainment and sports events and has become a key part of downtown Stockton.
The arena is named after a health company that sponsors the facility. It serves as a gathering place where the Stockton community comes together for games, concerts, and local celebrations, creating a shared sense of belonging.
The arena is easily accessible with nearby parking and public transportation options, along with wide aisles for easy movement inside. It is best to arrive early to find parking and settle in before the event starts.
The arena was originally home to the Stockton Thunder, a hockey team that played its first game here in 2005 with a 4-0 victory shortly after opening. Today it houses the Stockton Kings, an NBA G League basketball team that relocated from Nevada in 2018 and quickly became a local favorite.
