Gingerbread Mansion

Gingerbread Mansion is a large residential building in Victorian style with eleven guest rooms that each have a private bathroom. The house spans generous spaces and displays Queen Anne architectural elements throughout its interior.

The building was constructed in 1899 and initially served as a doctor's home and office. Later, in 1921, it became Ferndale's first hospital and received a major expansion.

The mansion displays hallmarks of late 19th-century design through intricate woodwork and tall ceilings that remain visible throughout. These architectural details give each room its own character and appeal.
