Benson Grist Mill, Gristmill in Stansbury Park, United States

The Benson Grist Mill spreads across 7 acres along State Highway 138, featuring four historic buildings and four additional structures including an open-air pavilion.

Thomas Lee constructed the original mill in 1854 at Lake Point under the direction of a church corporation that included John Rowberry, Ezra T Benson, and Benjamin Crosland.

The mill maintains its heritage through yearly events such as farmers markets, pioneer activities, arts festivals, and seasonal celebrations that bring the local community together.

Visitors can explore the site from May to October, with extended hours during summer months between June and August, operating Thursday through Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM.

The restoration process, initiated in 1983, transformed an abandoned industrial structure into one of Utah's most complete pioneer-era industrial buildings through community volunteer efforts.
