Wild Kingdom Train Zoo

The Wild Kingdom Train Zoo contains over 40 animals from 15 species, including Siberian tigers, golden eagles, zebras, camels, and African lions along the route.

Opening in 1967 as Animaland Train, this attraction follows the path of the former Bamberger Train line and received its current name in 1975.

The railway station on South Midway allows passengers to observe animals while riding in two steam-powered engines named Houston and Merriweather around a lagoon.

Children measuring less than 36 inches require adult supervision during the train journey, which maintains a slow speed suitable for all age groups.

Two narrow-gauge locomotives built by Crown Metal Products transport visitors through a tunnel system while passing multiple animal exhibits.
