Hyatt Regency Albuquerque, Upscale hotel and skyscraper in downtown Albuquerque, United States
The Hyatt Regency Albuquerque is a modern twenty-story hotel located in downtown Albuquerque with eight passenger elevators serving the building. The property includes conference facilities, an outdoor swimming pool, exercise equipment, and several restaurants and bars on-site and within walking distance of the Convention Center.
The building was designed by the architectural firm Hellmuth, Obata and Kassabaum and opened in 1990. Its completion marked a new addition to Albuquerque's modern downtown development of that era.
The building incorporates New Mexican architectural styles that are visible throughout the interior spaces and dining areas, reflecting local traditions and regional food culture.
The hotel is centrally located and easily walkable, especially for visitors heading to the Convention Center or exploring downtown attractions. Its position provides convenient access to most downtown destinations.
Many guest rooms offer views of either the Sandia Mountains to the east or the Rio Grande Valley and downtown Albuquerque to the west. These scenic views allow visitors to experience both the natural landscape and urban setting of the city.
