UFO Watchtower, Observation platform in Hooper, Colorado, US.
The UFO Watchtower features a 10-foot-high viewing platform and a gift shop situated at 7,600 feet elevation in the San Luis Valley.
Former cattle farmer Judy Messoline established this observation site in May 2000 after obtaining permission from county commissioners to transform her property.
The healing garden near the gift shop contains three designated areas where visitors place personal objects based on local beliefs about energy fields.
The 620-acre property provides camping facilities and maintains a log of reported UFO sightings, which reached 163 documented cases by 2023.
The watchtower has recorded over 30,000 visitors since its opening, with the owner personally documenting 27 unexplained aerial phenomena above the San Luis Valley.
