Silver Cascade Falls

Silver Cascade Falls drops 200 feet over granite rock faces, creating a natural spout formation that projects water 10 feet from the surface during peak flow.

The falls became accessible to the public following the establishment of North Cheyenne Cañon Park, which developed into a recreational center near Colorado Springs.

The falls connect to a network of trails that form an essential part of outdoor activities for Colorado Springs residents throughout all four seasons.

Visitors can reach the falls through a steep half-mile trail starting at Helen Hunt Falls, with parking and restroom facilities available at the trailhead.

The water follows a natural path from Buffalo Canyon through St. Mary's Falls before cascading down Silver Cascade and merging with North Cheyenne Creek.
