Curt Gowdy State Park, State park in Laramie Mountains, Wyoming, US.

Curt Gowdy State Park is a protected area in the Laramie Mountains between Cheyenne and Laramie. The land features granite rock formations, gentle hills, and three reservoirs spread across roughly 1,375 acres (556 hectares).

The park was established in 1971 and named after sportscaster Curt Gowdy, who worked to promote outdoor activities in Wyoming. His passion for nature led to the creation of this protected space.

Hynds Lodge, a registered historic building, shows Wyoming's local building style and hosts various community events. Visitors can see how people in this region built and used such structures in the past.

The park has about 35 miles (56 kilometers) of trails for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding at different difficulty levels. Routes are marked so visitors can choose paths that match their ability.

The three reservoirs in the park offer different fishing experiences and varying boat access rules. Granite Reservoir allows motorized boats, while others have stricter restrictions on engine power.
