Bankers Hall, Twin office towers in Downtown Calgary, Canada
Bankers Hall is a pair of identical office towers in the heart of Calgary, each with 52 floors soaring to 197 meters above the city streets. The complex houses a four-level shopping center with shops, dining options, and professional services, all integrated into the building's lower levels.
The first tower opened in 1989, while its twin was completed a decade later in 2000. Together they form the tallest pair of twin buildings in Canada.
The rooflines of both towers reference Calgary's cowboy heritage through their design. This architectural choice connects the towers to the city's identity when viewed from surrounding streets.
The building is connected to nearby structures through elevated walkways, making movement around downtown convenient during harsh winter months. These connecting passages allow visitors to explore large sections of the city center while staying sheltered from the elements.
The eastern tower displays a striking silver crown while its western counterpart gleams with gold, giving each building its own visual identity despite their identical design. This contrast makes each tower instantly recognizable across the skyline.
