The C. M. Russell Museum Complex spans across 16 galleries, featuring over 3,000 pieces of Western art, including paintings, sculptures, and historical artifacts.
Established in 1953 following Emma Josephine Trigg's bequest of 153 artworks, the museum complex received National Historic Landmark status in 1965.
The collection contains nearly 1,000 creations by Charles Marion Russell depicting Native American life, cowboys, Montana landscapes, and wildlife of the American West.
The museum operates daily from May through September, and Thursday through Monday from October through April, with adult admission priced at 18 dollars.
The complex includes Russell's original house and log cabin studio, preserving the authentic workspace where he created his renowned Western artworks.
