C.M. Fines Building

The C.M. Fines Building is a 20-story high-rise reaching 79 meters into Regina's skyline, recognizable by its brown and yellow exterior with gold-tinted reflective windows. The structure houses corporate offices and is served by four elevators.

Built in 1979, the structure held the title of Regina's tallest building until 1988, marking a period of urban growth. This nine-year prominence reflected the region's economic aspirations during that era.

The building carries the name of Clarence Melvin Fines, a provincial Finance Minister whose legacy is tied to Saskatchewan's insurance history. This naming reflects how local figures shaped the region's economic development.

The building is located at 11th Avenue and is easy to reach from downtown Regina. The four elevators in the lobby provide quick access to all 20 floors.

In 2004, the building underwent a major renovation to repair water damage affecting its post-tension cable systems, demonstrating the ongoing care needed for such structures. This investment secured the long-term durability of the landmark.
