Enbridge Centre, Modern skyscraper in Downtown Edmonton, Canada
Enbridge Centre is a skyscraper in Downtown Edmonton with a glass facade featuring 25 floors above ground and 5 levels below. It provides over 50,000 square meters of office space and connects to the city's indoor pedestrian walkway system for year-round circulation through the downtown core.
Construction took place from 2013 to 2016 under Ledcor Construction Limited, with architectural design by Dialog. The building opened in October 2016 and became part of the wave of downtown revitalization that was reshaping Edmonton's core during that period.
Original bricks from the former Kelly Ramsey Building are woven into the glass facade, creating a visual dialogue between what stood here before and what stands now. This layering of old and new is something you notice as you approach the entrance.
The building has 15 elevators serving all floors and underground parking for around 370 vehicles. Connection to Edmonton's indoor walkway system means you can move through downtown without going outside, which is especially practical during winter or bad weather.
The building is recorded with two different heights depending on measurement method, a detail that most visitors overlook but reveals how architects and engineers count floor space differently than how buildings are traditionally measured. This quirk reflects real technical differences in how the structure was designed.
