Francis Winspear Centre for Music, Concert hall in downtown Edmonton, Canada.

The Francis Winspear Centre for Music features a modern rectangular concert hall with 1,716 seats, designed by Cohos Evamy Partners with contemporary shoebox architectural principles and curved balconies for optimal acoustics.

Named after philanthropist Francis G. Winspear who donated $6 million, the centre opened in September 1997 and received the largest private donation for a performing arts facility in Canadian history.

The venue serves as home to the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra and hosts diverse musical performances including classical concerts, jazz shows, educational workshops, and community programs throughout the year.

Located at 4 Sir Winston Churchill Square NW near Churchill station, the centre operates Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM with wheelchair accessibility and nearby public transit options.

The centre houses the Davis Concert Organ built by Orgues Létourneau, featuring 96 stops, 122 ranks, and over 6,500 pipes, installed in 2002 as an integral part of musical performances.
