Terwillegar Park is a municipal park on the east bank of the North Saskatchewan River in southwest Edmonton, part of the river valley parks system that covers over 7,300 hectares. Its trails are used for mountain biking and hiking, and canoe services operate on the river. The park lies within the Terwillegar Heights area, whose development began with a servicing concept design brief adopted by Edmonton City Council in 1992.

Terwillegar Park lies within the North Saskatchewan River valley parks system, which landscape architect Frederick Todd first proposed for Edmonton's riverfront in 1907. The city acquired over 100 river valley properties as parkland between 1907 and 1931, and a 1933 bylaw preserved the valley as parkland. The River Valley Alliance, formed in 1996 and incorporated in 2003, coordinates the parks from Devon to Fort Saskatchewan.
