Arrowhead State Park

Arrowhead State Park is a 2,200-acre property on a peninsula of Lake Eufaula featuring wooded areas, hiking trails, and extensive shoreline for water recreation. The grounds include an 18-hole golf course with amenities, multiple boat launch points, and camping areas for both RVs and tents.

The site was transformed when Lake Eufaula was created in 1964 through the construction of Eufaula Dam, turning the region into a recreational destination for southeastern Oklahoma. This development enabled the area to become a public park for outdoor activities.

Visitors can join outdoor educational programs that teach about local wildlife such as white-tailed deer, wild turkeys, and various bird species found throughout the park. These regular activities help people connect with the natural environment around the lake.

The park provides RV sites, tent camping areas, boat launch facilities, and a pro shop for golf players seeking supplies and advice. Visitors should check seasonal conditions before arriving, as weather and water levels can affect activities like fishing and boating.
