W National Park, Biosphere reserve in Niger and Benin, West Africa.

The park contains diverse landscapes spanning over 10,000 square kilometers, featuring savannas, woodlands, and wetlands formed by the Niger River.

Established in 1954, the park earned UNESCO World Heritage Site status in 1996 as part of the broader W-Arly-Pendjari Complex.

Local Baatonum and Gourmantche communities maintain traditional practices while coexisting with the protected natural environment of the park.

The park remains accessible through guided safari tours departing from Natitingou, with visits recommended during the dry season from November to April.

The park derives its name from the distinctive W-shaped bend of the Niger River that marks its northern boundary.
