Ura Monastery, Buddhist temple in Ura village, Bumthang, Bhutan

Ura Monastery, also called Ura Lhakhang, is a two-storey temple in the middle of Ura village in Bumthang, about the size of the National Library in Thimphu. Built in 1986 in traditional Bhutanese style on the site of a dilapidated older temple, it is dedicated to Guru Rinpoche and houses three sanctuaries. Inside are a large statue of Guru Rinpoche, with Guru Nangsay Zilnoen as the main statue, and painted murals.
