Jagdschloss Gaaden, Hunting lodge in Gaaden, Austria
The Jagdschloss Gaaden stands in the northern section of a 360-hectare hunting estate south of Gaaden municipality in the Vienna Woods.
Karl von Skoda commissioned the construction of this neoclassical hunting lodge in 1911, engaging Munich architect Emanuel von Seidl for the design.
During the post-war period, from 1945 to 1955, the hunting lodge transformed into a children's holiday home under the direction of Moritz Fels-Margulies.
The entrance gate complex, constructed in the early 1960s, features decorative statues and leads to the extensive private hunting grounds.
The enclosed 360-hectare property maintains populations of wild boar, red deer, roe deer, and fallow deer under the management of Gut Waldhof forestry administration.
