Kirchenkarbahn I extends across 1511 meters, connecting passengers from the valley station at 2175 meters to the mountain station at 2629 meters elevation.

The Doppelmayr/Garaventa company constructed this lift in 2015, marking it as the first D-Line 10-passenger gondola system in the world.

The Top Mountain Crosspoint at the base station combines transportation infrastructure with Europe's highest motorcycle museum and a restaurant.

The lift operates with 43 heated cabins, each carrying 10 passengers, achieving a transport capacity of 2440 people per hour in each direction.

The system features a hydraulically adjustable tension system at the valley station and operates with a cable diameter of 64 millimeters.
