Poldasht-Shah Takhti Bridge

The Poldasht-Shah Takhti Bridge is an international road bridge spanning the Aras River to connect the Iranian city of Poldasht with the Azerbaijani settlement of Shah Takhti. The structure allows direct border crossing between the two countries at this strategically important river location.

The bridge was completed in the 2000s and created a direct connection between Iran and Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan region without requiring passage through Armenia. This project marked a significant moment for infrastructure development between the two countries.
