Biplob Udyan, Public park in Chittagong, Bangladesh

Biplob Udyan is a 2-acre park near Gate No. 2 of Chittagong, built in memory of Pritilata Waddedar, the revolutionary woman of the city's anti-British movement. Its gate is formed of plants spelling the park's name, and a concrete umbrella stands among the flower beds. A separate zone is set aside for children, and a sculpture called Swadhinata Stambha depicts events from the 1952 Language Movement to the 1971 Victory Day.

The garden opened in 1979 on two acres near Chittagong's No. 2 Gate, named for Pritilata Waddedar, the revolutionary woman of the city's anti-British movement. In late 2019 the city corporation planned its modernisation, and in November of that year leased it for 20 years to Reform Limited of Dhaka and Style Living Architect Limited of Chittagong, with about one acre including the surrounding footpath.

The park is named after Pritilata Waddedar, the revolutionary woman who fought against British rule in Chittagong. Its Freedom Monument sets out the country's history in separate panels, from the 1952 Language Movement to Victory Day in 1971. The gate carries the words 'Biplob Udyan' spelled out in plants.

The garden opens to visitors from 4 pm onward, and entry is free. It sits near Chittagong's No. 2 Gate. A children's zone is set aside inside, and a concrete umbrella provides shade.

The park opened in 1979 on 2 acres (0.81 ha) near the city's Gate No. 2. In late 2019 the Chittagong City Corporation took up a modernisation project, and that November leased the garden, with about 1 acre of adjoining footpath, for 20 years to Dhaka's Reform Limited and Chittagong's Style Living Architect Limited.
