Prince-Bishops' Palace, Medieval palace in central Liège, Belgium

The palace extends over two courtyards, with the main one displaying 60 columns featuring distinct carved figures and decorative patterns along its arcades.

First constructed around year 1000 by Bishop Notger, the palace underwent multiple reconstructions after fires in 1185, 1468, and 1734.

The residence served as both religious and political center, reflecting the strong influence of Prince-Bishops who controlled the region during medieval times.

The palace contains Liège law courts and provincial government offices, with guided visits available through the Tourist Information Centre.

The western section received an extension in 2011 to accommodate additional judicial institutions, maintaining architectural harmony with original structures.
